Project Overview

Design and UX strategy for Clothify, a fashion-forward mobile marketplace connecting buyers with curated clothing sellers. The app brings together indie brands, resale wardrobes, and trend-savvy shoppers on a sleek, scroll-worthy interface.

Client Needs

Clothify needed a high-conversion mobile app design that would:

  • Offer an Instagram-like browsing experience for fashion items

  • Let users filter by brand, style, and condition (new/resale)

  • Support secure in-app transactions

  • Highlight seller storefronts and product details beautifully

  • Encourage user-generated listings and reviews

The Solution

Design Approach

Cashify

We created a clean, swipe-friendly mobile interface with bold visuals and intuitive navigation. The design leans into modern UI patterns with a fashion-first feel.

Key visual themes:

  • Bold typography with lots of white space

  • High-resolution product cards

  • Sticky bottom nav with key tabs: Home, Categories, Sell, Cart, Profile

  • Wishlist and “Try this look” integrations

  • Soft gradients and neutral tones to let clothing stand out

Technical Implementation (Design Focus Only)

  • Designed in Figma with atomic components

  • Prototyped interactions using Framer

  • Created developer-ready assets and style guides

  • Applied Dark Mode variants and responsive layouts for fold and scroll

  • Designed for Android and iOS simultaneously (Material + Human Interface Guidelines)

  • Scrollable category chips: “Streetwear”, “Formal”, “Sustainable”, etc.

  • Smart filters with saved preferences

  • Carousel for “Deals of the Day” and seasonal collections

2. Seller Storefronts

Each seller profile includes:

  • Logo, banner, and bio

  • Ratings and reviews

  • Grid view of listings

  • Follow and message buttons

3. Product Listing Flow

We designed a streamlined multi-step listing process:

  • Photo uploads with smart crop & background removal

  • Tag system for style, brand, fabric

  • Auto-suggested titles and prices based on trends

  • Draft saving and preview mode

4. Checkout & Cart

  • Cart with editable quantities and delivery estimates

  • Multiple payment methods

  • Promo code support

  • Order summary and real-time shipping updates

5. Wishlist & Styleboard

  • Add-to-Wishlist for saved looks

  • Styleboard builder for mixing and matching pieces

  • Shareable collections with friends or followers
